2022 Masterworks Concert

큰아이의 콰이어 팀에서는 매년 1/2월 사이 오케스트라와 협연을 하는 콘서트를 연다.

올해 일정은 1월이었으나 오미크론의 확산으로 일정을 연기해서 2월 첫주에 하게 되었다.

더군다나 큰아이는 이기간중 COVID-19 증상으로 2주를 빠져버렸다.

같이 하는 연습을 다 하지못했지만 집에서 유튜브를 보면서 연습을 했기에 참가에는 문제가 없게 되었다.

이번의 주제는 Antonio Vivaldi, Gloria

콰이어 팀안에는 여러 팀들이 나뉘어 있다.

그중에서 이 콘서트에는 Chorale과 Cantilena 만 참여한다.

오케스트라는 Chamber 멤버들이 같이 하게 되었다.

장소는 학교 앞에 있는 St. Peter's United Methodist Church 에서 저녁 7시에 시작했다.

 

클래식한 곡들은 어렵지만 들으면 편안해진다.

오케스트라는 4개 팀이 한곡씩 연주하는데

String Quintet in G Major, Op. 77 Mvt, 2; Scherzo. Allegro vivace (Antonin Dvorak, 1888)

String Quintet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 13 Mvt. 1: Adagio-Allegro vivace (Felix Mendelsohn, 1827)

Requiern in F-Sharp minor for 3 Cellos & Piano, Op. 66 Mvt. 1: Adagio-Allegro vivace (David Propper, 1892)

String Quinter in G Major, Op. 77 Mvt. 1: Allegro con fuoco (Antonin Dvorak, 1888)

이런 곡들이다.

 

콰이어 팀은

- Gloria in Excelsis Deo (Glory in God on high)

- Et in terra pac hominibus bonae voluntatis (And on earth peace, good will to all)

- Laudamus te, benedicimus te, adoramus te, glorificamus te (We praise thee, we bless thee, we adore thee, we glorify thee)

- Gratias agimus tibi propter magnam gloriam tuam (We give thanks to thee for thy great glory)

- Domine Deus, rex coelestis, Deus pater omnipotens (Lord God, heavenly king, God the father almighty)

- Domine fili unigenite, Jesu Christe (Lord, the only begotten Son, Jesus Christ)

이 곡을 혼성, 합창, 솔로로 노래했다.

이번엔 부모들 중 지원자에 한해서 함께 연습하고 참여할 수 있게 했는데 사정상 못했다.

망설이다 못했는데 이걸 보니 같이 할걸 하는 아쉬움이 진하게 남는다.

마스크가 강제사항이 아니다보니 본인이 선택해서 쓴다.

거의 하지 않고 있고 거리두기도 이젠 없다.

이젠 우리보다 훨씬 커버린 아이를 보니 흐뭇하면서도 한편으로는 안쓰러움이 깊어진다.

이런게 부모의 마음일까 싶다.

준비를 위해 미리 학교로 가는 큰아이

요즘 운전에 한참 빠져서 로드테스트 연습중이다.

조만간 시험보게 된다.
